Jérémie 28:4

And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the LORD: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.

Et je ramènerai à cet endroit Jeconiah - n'impliquant pas nécessairement que Hananiah souhaitait que Sédécias soit remplacé par Jeconiah. Le principal objectif visé était que la restauration de Babylone soit complète. Mais, sans doute, le faux prophète a prédit le retour de Jeconiah (2 Rois 24:12 - 2 Rois 24:15), pour se faire du bien avec la population, avec qui Jeconiah était un favori (Jérémie 22:24, note).
