Juges 2:20

And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my voice;

Le Seigneur ... a dit: Parce que ... On ne dit pas par quel prophète cette annonce a été faite. Étant apparemment la même substance que celle du début, prononcée par l'ange, elle doit probablement être considérée comme une récapitulation par l'historien, qui, après avoir répété la prophétie, a déclaré son accomplissement dans le dernier verset.
