Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even.

Le prêtre sera impur jusqu'au soir. Les cérémonies prescrites montrent l'imperfection du sacerdoce lévitique, alors qu'elles caractérisent la condition du Christ lors de l'expiation de nos péchés (2 Corinthiens 5:21).
