Introdução
X.
The latter part of the ninth chapter was an expansion of Hebreus 10:11. In particular, Hebreus 10:23 have been occupied with the theme, “Christ entered once for all into the Holy Place, having won eternal redemption.” The repeated offerings presented by the high priests have been contrasted with the sacrifice which He has offered. To this thought the opening verses of this chapter attach themselves, explaining more fully the inefficacy of the one, the power and virtue of the other. Gradually the main thoughts of the preceding Chapter s are gathered up, and the last and chief division of the argument of the Epistle is brought to a close in Hebreus 10:18.
